Sofra is a simple Turkish restaurant that sits at the heart of Covent Garden's theatre and restaurant district. It offers an interesting alternative and an area filled with Italian and French restaurants. The hanging baskets outside and the intimate interior provide a family-run feel (despite the fact that the restaurant is actually a chain). Inside, white table cloths and bright red chairs give the dining area a sense of occasion. The menu is traditionally Turkish, including the likes of mixed grills, moussaka and rice dishes. It is also suitably long to bring a large group - there should be something here to please everybody.
