What is The Rileys Sports Bar like?
The Rileys is a reliably sports-focused place to head to - perfect if you are heading into London for the day and don't want to miss your team's match. The Rileys sports Bar is not directly in Piccadilly Circus. However, you will find it an easy walking distance (see the link below). It is a large space that you can head to if you fancy watching some sport, or simply soaking up the atmosphere.
Rileys features 4 separate rooms including a Pool bar and VIP lounge, 34 new screens, 4 projectors, the largest screen in London which occupy the whole of the front 12 foot windows, over 70 sports channels, 7 pool tables, 3 ping pong tables, a restaurant, 4 bars and viewing for nearly 600 people. It is suitable for any corporate event, celebration, lunch, party and of course a popular place to watch sports.
Who would visit this bar?
As its name suggests, The Rileys Sports Bar is popular, first and foremost, with sports fans. It could also be a good venue for large corporate events. People come to Rileys to soak up the atmosphere and enthusiasm when a match is taking place. Matches for everything from football to rugby and tennis are shown on large screens that are situated around the bar. If you are not really into sport, it's probably best to avoid Rileys whilst a match is taking place - the chat going on around here will be about off-side rules and just how angry people are with the referee!
When is the best time to visit?
Rileys is open all year round
You should come at different times depending on what you are after. Obviously, if you are heading to the bar to enjoy some drinks whilst you enjoy the match, you will need to find out what time the match starts. If you would like a boogie and more if a social occasion, it is best to head to the bar during the evenings - check the official website (see link below) for events that might be taking place during your visit.
